Eyebrows - how to make them grow...

Hi,
Do you any of you have any recommendations about getting eyebrow hairs to grow? After years of waxing, my eyebrows seem to start too far in...and I have heard that they may never grow back but I am going to try and not pluck any hairs and see if they do. Just wondered if you have any tips on how to make them grow faster. Thank you all!!

I'm sure I was told that massaging olive oil helped.

My eyebrows are (were?) dreadful...baldy in alot of places and in really bad shape.

I used to pluck them myself and really overpluck, especially at the start of the brow.

about 8 weeks ago I started getting them threaded and leave them well alone on between sessions . The threader lady (sorry I can't think of her title) gives them a lovely shape and told me to fill in for the moment what is bald.

its taking time but they are really growing back thicker, they start in the right place and there is a lovely defined shape on them! its really done my brows such good!

You can get eyebrow extentions

Dancergirl · 22/05/2015 16:39

Try revitabrow, you can buy it on amazon. Expensive though.

They will grow. I over plucked mine and they just looked ridiculous so I haven't touched them for 3 months other than tweezing the middle and the odd stray hairs that didn't fit in the shape. They're still fairly thin but have a much more defined fuller look to what they used to. Sorry I can't recommend anything other than just leaving them

My eyebrows got patchy in places from bad threading experiences and the gap in the middle got too wide.
I was told it just takes time for them to recover. But you can buy an oil that you can rub in which stimulates growth (was recommended one from the Blink Bar).
Has been 9 months now and they're pretty good, but will never get them done on the cheap ever again!

Castor oil! A few drops of vitamin e oil with castor oil in an old clean mascara tube and brush it onto your eyebrows at night. I've been using it for about 6 weeks on my eyebrows and eyelashes and they're much fuller and thicker. And I feel all Blue Peter when I do it to Grin

sorry, no evidence for castor oil except the psychological, and it might smooth the dead hairs.

great laxative though so be careful not to chew the brush...

only the regaine-type products actually bring follicles back into action.

PetiteBateau · 22/05/2015 18:37

Vaseline on them at night.

Evianbaby15 · 22/05/2015 18:39

Sorry you can get eyebrow extensions!? Hmm

LondonRocks · 22/05/2015 18:41

Vaseline here, too! Brilliant.

I've recently given up waiting for mine to grow back (a year...) and bought revitabrow. It has worked amazingly! I had about a cm in the inner side of each brow I'd been accidentally plucking and it is almost as thick as the rest after about 5 weeks. The stuff is over £20 but lasts a couple weeks of months. I will need to carry on using it though or they will probably thin back out again...

Minshu · 22/05/2015 18:54

I used revitalash on lashes and brows with reasonable success. Stopped using it when it ran out and went back to patchy normal within a couple of months. Just bought castor oil as a cheap replacement, so hope poster above is wrong Grin
