Where can I find a long grey/charcoal cotton cardigan?

Is this just not the done thing? I've decided I really need one. The weather today was a bit mixed but not really cold so I reached for the only long cotton cardi I have and it's black - bought on a whim when was caught in cooler weather last summer. I don't really like black but really liked the overall look. Anyone seen one that isn't the most expensive thing in the world?

Ps, it can't be waterfall or in any way bulky.

How long is long?

Woolovers Cotton and Silk is £29 and in two greys. They have lots of other styles too.

I bought this one about a month ago, and have worn it lots when it's a bit chilly. It's in the sale too!

TheHappinessTrap · 22/05/2015 17:11

Thanks for the suggestions! Music - that's a good question, longer! The woolovers just covers the hips and that length on me emphasises my hip girth! Bake - the Boden one is a heavier knit - ideally I'd find something in cotton that's more of a "summer" weight.

Anyone else seen anything? It's so frustrating when you decide that this one thing you don't currently own is THE ONE thing that you just absolutely need. Or is that just me?Smile

Next have got one - called the 'maxi cardigan'. Looks a bit dressing gown like in their picture but I just took the belt off my and it's fine.

TheHappinessTrap · 22/05/2015 18:53

Thanks Fizzio (funny name!) I've seen the next one. That pic of it belted is really off putting but I'm considering. Also beginning to look at dark blue as an alternative. Don't know if the link will work.

Although just saw the link to the model showing how it moves and it doesn't create the sleeker line I'm hoping to find.

I wouldn't have thought this would be a hard thing to find!

I got a lovely grey cotton fine knit long cardigan from Warehouse. I liked it so much I bought another in red and two more grey ones that I dyed black and navy (they were in the sale). I think they might be sold out online now, but might be worth looking in stores/concessions. It was called long side split cardigan and here's a picture:

Thanks for all the ideas, it's hard to get the length, fabric and colour all in one card! Ginger your John lewis link had the right colour and length but it's not cotton. I prefer the shape in nowhere's link though, how do you dye them? Remus, I saw those and they are nice but too light.

I'm thinking about the one you've linked pants, hoping the pic doesn't do it justice... argh!
