Paula's Choice Resist range

I was just wondering if anyone here has used any of the products from this range? My cousin raves about it but it doesn't seem that well known this side of the pond. You can order sample sachets from the website for 70 pence each but would still love to know your thoughts...

Love it. Because Paula doesn't believe in fragrances in products they all feel a bit clinical but they work very well with my acne prone, sometimes dehydrated skin. It doesn't overclaim what it does but it does its job very well.

Thanks safetyzone! I ordered the sample sachets for 8 of the products and I must say that after a few days of using a few of them, I can literally see the difference in my skin already! I used to have little bumps on my forehead and they are now virtually gone, my pore size seems smaller especially on my nose where they used to be huge and even my freckles seem lighter! I am so impressed I am thinking of investing in the resists set they have online Grin

Which one helped your pores!!! Hate mine round my nose!

Gem124, I'm not sure as I'm using about 5 of the products from the range but I reckon it's either the smoothing AHA one and the antioxidant serum (or maybe both!). I've tried the Clarins, Clinique and Estée Lauder pore stuff before but none worked for me.

It's called Daily Smoothing Treatment 5% AHA

Yes, I have used their products for years and love them. At the moment I am using the anti redness exfoliating solution 2% salicylic acid and it's fantastic. I also really recommend the non greasy sunscreen spf 50.

CheesyDibbles · 23/05/2015 21:54

mrsfox I use the 2% BHA too! Have done for years and I swear by it.

I have tried the 10% Resist AHA Treatment which is very good. I don't use it currently as I am using retinoids and it would be too much for me combined with BHA. I did however, pass a sample on to a friend and she now swears by it.

JustAPawn · 24/05/2015 08:31

Oh hello. Do you mind me asking, what does 2% BHA do and what does 10% Resist AHA do?

I am 45 years old and have really good skin in general, but I have two vertical frown lines which have become very noticeable in the last three months or so. I wonder if there's anything I can use to smooth them a bit as they make my expression a little harsh?

violetbunny · 24/05/2015 08:33

I've used Paula's Choice products for years and swear by them. I especially love the 10% weekly AHA lotion, the 2% BHA lotion and the 25% vitamin c treatment.

CheesyDibbles · 24/05/2015 08:49

Justapawn BHA I and AHA are both exfoliants. BHA is another term for salicylic acid, which is very good for problem skin/acne. AHA is more for resurfacing and anti-ageing concerns and sounds better for your concerns.
