Help! Maternity evening wear?

I've been invited to a family do with DP's family that means I'm going to have to dress up. I'm not a dressy up person anyway but the thought of doing so while 27 weeks pregnant has filled me with dread ever since we got the invitation...

I ordered this from ASOS which just looks completely wrong on me and I'm struggling a bit if i'm honest.

Any style gurus out there who can offer any suggestions? Like I said I'm 5ft3, and a size 14 but with an okay figure, real problem areas are hips and thighs.

cheers in advance

I've just bought this from Dorithy Perkins and it's lovely - very flattering and easy to wear. I can't do a proper link of my phone, sorry.

Seraphine.

Lovely dresses, not too expensive, good quality, and easy to dress up with a bit of make up and nice hair, or down.

I got this at Christmas www.amazon.co.uk/Mamalicious-Womens-Nursing-Function-Maternity/dp/B00KOHULMG

Flattering on and was easy to dress up. At 30 weeks felt about as good as I could! Am size 14-16 and was flattering. Sounds like I have similar figure to you.
