Trainers for a city break

Recommend me some trainers to take away for a weekend city break. Converse are too narrow and Superga not quite supportive enough and a bit heavy. Please help

New balance with gel insoles. No competition.

I've got some cash kidston Gola ones, really comfy and supportive

I don't like the big N either on the Nee Balance but the 420s look like the ideal trainer.

That's what I liked about the single colour nike max. Although it does have a logo on it, it's very not noticeable as it blends with the colour - whatever that colour is - like this :

and if you are wearing trousers the logo on the top of the heel and the tongue are covered anyway.

if you have one nearby, just go to Sports Direct and have a look and a try on. So many to choose from and half the price of anywhere else. Look in the kids ranges too if you have smaller feet.

Nike air pegasus are v comfy and look great i think. I wamted some nike air max but found these much comfier. And I have quite big feet and they still look nice (I think!).

Nike air pegasus 83 (there's other types apparently). Lots of lovely colours too.

I have new balance and some nikes. And some gum nikes. I just chose s colour I liked. Son had got some asics to wear in NYC he's a skater and skate type trainers too flat. He pronounced most comfy ever.

His topshop working in gf went. Refused to consider asics. One day there went and got herself some Asics for her tiny feet.

Both conclude asics are cool and the comfiest.

Adidas Superstars. Leather trainers won't get your feet wet in the rain!

I ordered the Pegasus 83 in burgundy, couldn't get my size in black. Hopefully they will look good in person as well!

NB comfy but agree ugly I am ebaying my last pair! Adidas are comfy but nikr pegasus look nice!

Hurrah I love the pegasus and they're soooo comfy. They do lots of lovely colour combinations (tho the one I fell in love with was out if stock in the ok so I ended up buying them from a Lithuanian website!).

Living in London, I wear New Balance or Addidas Gazelles.

NB are EVERYWHERE and even my DH has a pair which he wears to work every day in navy and bright orange. The N is less noticeable when wearing with jeans anyway. And vv comfy.

My trendy nanny wears nikes - all black.

Those internationalist ones are lovely, but my feet are big and would prob look huge if they were white! Surprisingly they don't look too bad in the purple pegasus ones. I also love these pegasus :)

Notname your purple pair of nikes is lovely!! I like the look of the teal ones too...might be odd if I start a collection of the pegasus sneakers in varioua colours, they are all just so nice it's tempting

noddyholder those are beautiful trainers, I would worry about getting them dirty with my little kids. They would be lovely for summer!

I'd like a pair just like the Nike or NB but without the stupid N or the stupid tick.

I like the stupid tick I am a trainer fiend though I just can't get enough!

I have only ever owned two pairs of trainers since I stopped doing PE at school. But I feel the need for cushioning!
