Something for keeping warm, not a coat

Google is a great place if you know what you're looking for and I don't Grin

I want something to put on over the top of a heap of different stuff to keep warm before the sun comes out for summer. So I need arms, not a gilet. Not a coat. Maybe a cardigan. Not a waterfall cardigan. But something to save me and everyone else from the sloppy grey thing I'm wearing at the moment Wink

TIA

Be careful what you wish for. Google will choose for you.

How about a really lovely, thick chunky knit scarf? Or snood? Great for when it gets a bit cooler but not quite chilly enough for a coat. Get one big/thick/long enough to go round shoulders too and it's really cosy

Unfortunately M&S no longer sell it. Sad

and it has no arms. Not even its OWN arms.

Pispcina · 20/05/2015 16:04

How about some arm warmers? (I am serious now Grin)

I think that one escaped from the muppets Pispcina Grin

What do you want it to go over, as it were? Dress? T shirts and stuff?

BrassicaBabe · 20/05/2015 16:08

Yes, over t-shirts with jeans mostly. Something that doesn't make me look like a slob Grin

Hmm.

I have to say I'm stumped. I do think a cardigan is the way forward.

Spydra · 20/05/2015 16:29

Jacket? Or Blazer type thing?

RickOShay · 20/05/2015 16:34

What about a poncho? I have a fine knit navy one, I feel really nice in it.

BrassicaBabe · 20/05/2015 16:46

Happy to see any cardi/jacket/ponchos folks have got on well with Grin

I've got big boobs so I'm careful with jackets. But I've found some less structured ones that I like. Any cardis that folks like? I've so lost my style mojo recently Hmm

I've just bought something like this

Mine was in the East sale and it goes with loads of stuff.

I have a chunky knit edge to edge cardigan from Tu which I wear for this sort of thing. Because it's chunky knit there are lots of "holes" in it which means isn't too hot.

Cashmere ponchos by Scott and Scott. Love them and own multiples!
