Jumpsuits - yay or nay?

is this www.esprit.co.uk/womenswear/overalls/flowing-crepe-jumpsuit-015EO1L002_415 smart enough for a casual-ish evening do wedding and the odd summer party?
I'm a not very tall (5'2) 48 year old curvyish size 10; pale skin, dark hair blue eyes.
Esprit have sold out - anything similar out there?

this is gorgeous but a bit pricey and possibly also out of stock. Makes me wonder if I'm going to turn up to a do where everyone in the 40 plus bracket is aiming to look stylish in a black jumpsuit!
