Atrophic Acne Scarring

Anyone had any success with home treatments? Glycolic acid / exfoliation?
I'm waiting to see how well an atrophic acne scar will heal in the next 2 months before I have Dermastamp treatment and wondering what I might be able to do to help stimulate the collagen / resurface my skin?
Any advice appreciated.

Depends how old the scar is really.

If it's new, time will do a lot, and glycolic facials/microdermabrasion/dermaroller/etc will help stimulate collagen production. How much the scar fills up is sort of an unknown quantity.

If it's old, those products may help a little, but you might need some filler. Are you going to dermastamp just the scar? Laser might help too.

Thanks. It's five months old so also wondered how long I should wait before it's Dermastamped. Just having the scar treated.

Hmm, 5 months is a while. Have you had a derm consultation?

As an aside, why have you settled on dermastamp?

Yes, it's a while now so think I should get it treated. I've heard good reviews of Dermastamp and only want the isolated scar treated.

Yes, had a consultation. They said wait 6 months.
