Philips Lumea and such

I know this topic has been done extensively but just wanted to check. Did you (or somebody you know personally) have absolutely no result from Philips Lumea and such IF you have very pale skin and very dark body hair? I read a few reviews where people obviously didn't have this contrast and just hoped it would work, hence the question. My skin is very white, I burn easily and my body hair is practically black. I normally have bad reaction to waxing and shaving, ingrown hair, the lot - and just want swimming pool visits to become more pleasant.

I haven't triedthe Lumea but have had professional laser treatment. If you can find a Groupon you can probably get quite a lot of areas treated for the same price as a Lumea.

IPL isn't as effective - I have tried both. The laser is the longest lasting.

I am pale skinned ans my body hair is dark. but not almost black. I am not very hairy in the underarms and legs and the Lumea has worked fantastically well. I am hairy in the bikini department though, and that has been much more difficult to get on top of, but vastly improved nonetheless.

I am terribly lazy about using it fortnightly and sometimes leave it months between treatments so it's no surprise it's taking a while to make a massive difference in the knicker department. But my underarms and legs almost never need shaving for months and months on end.

I know people who have paid a lot for professional laser and one round of treatment isn't always sufficient to do the job permanently so I think the Lumea is great value as an alternative.

Am fairly pale and dark haired. Lumea has been brilliant for me.
Pits only need a zap every few weeks, bikini line pretty much same.
Chin etc need a bit more as I guess the growth is hormonal, but it's the very first thing that has actually properly sorted it.
Worth every penny for me.

Great, thank you. Time to start saving on it then. I will look on groupon but am concerned about quality as it seems there are so many types if lasers and quality can be patchy.

To be honest i think everything offered on Groupon is always a bit dodgy and a rip off. I've heard some terrible stories about treatments through Groupon. People who have a good service or product don't need to tout it through discount vouchers.
