Has anyone bought these and in what colour?

They come in some many beautiful colours that I got totally confused and couldn't decided. But buy a pair I must!

Old trainers are black and white, so wanted to move away from that. I love the deep blue ones but they didn't have in my size, then shop assistant said to get them in burgundy, in fact lots of people so, but as I don't wear burgundy that often, decided not to. Now I've seen them in a deep leather type green! They look awesome, but a friend said that colour doesn't go with blue jeans, which I wear a lot.
Please help

New Balance and Adidas are two totally separate brands of footwear though.......

rootypig · 17/05/2015 22:20

Green does go with blue jeans, because anything goes with anything with the right attitood. And if you try to colour coordinate trainers with all clothes you'll go mad / end up with black and white.

But yes, do tell us what shoes you actually mean!

TomatoesandOnions · 17/05/2015 22:21

Are they? Blush. I meant just New balance then, for some reason I thought they were from Adidas.

Wash your mouth out! Shock

Age has nowt to do with it.

If you love the green ones, that's your answer. Green trainers and blue jeans is not a problem and can be positively delightful.

Valsoldknickers · 17/05/2015 22:37

I have two pairs and love them.

Your friend is wrong, of course green goes with denim!

Lauren83 · 17/05/2015 22:46

I have them in pink, mint green and purple but wish I got the burgundy. Dark green is good too

MitzyLeFrouf · 17/05/2015 22:49

I think I like the grey and red ones best. Or plain navy.

And EVERY colour trainer goes with blue jeans! Have you not seen what da kidz are wearing on their feet these days? It's day-glo out there.

Thank you all for your ideas! So sorry I eventually fell asleep, showing my age again.....I'm still no closer to deciding which colour to go for. Firt world problem? Too much choice.

I've seen some lovely ones in schuh. They're turquoise/teal and wont go with anything I own but they're very nice.

HollyJollyDillydolly · 18/05/2015 12:04

won't match anything but nice colour.

Valsoldknickers · 18/05/2015 13:24

HollyJolly they are gorgeous, you've got me thinking, I wish I hadn't seen those!

TomatoesandOnions · 18/05/2015 13:34

Holly those are the ones I was describing as 'green leather' oh dear! if I can't even even get the colour right, not much hope is there Sad

Holly those are the ones I was describing as 'green leather look' oh dear! if I can't even get the colour right, not much hope Grin I saw them when I went into Schuh, I tried them on and they looked and felt gorgeous but a friend said they won't go with blue jeans and I'll struggle to find something to match them with. But a poster here just said the colours go with anything. I hate to make such a fashion faux pas.

I have a lovely pair of New Balance 420s in denim blue fabric/ grey suede. Even my fashionista daughter thinks they are acceptable ( most of my clothes are judged by her to be "tragic"). I love them!

Posted twice, thought the first didn't didn't register. Oh well.
