Primer

Please can anyone recommend me a high street price primer?

I've got quite large pores on my cheeks. I've tried the Rimmel one with the blue writing on (sorry can't remember what it was called).

Thanks

Benefit Porefessional.

If that is too ££ then Maybelline Baby Skin and Garnier Perfect Blur are both almost identical dupes.

Barbara Daly (from Tesco) is the best I've used. I think it's £10.

Thanks I'll have a look at those today.

I second the Barbara Day one, and Maybelline is good too.

Barbra daly, Mua super drug or lanacane anti chafing gel Grin

The Body Shop Vitamin C refiner (it's a primer) is amazing. Almost as good as Laura Mercier.

Maybeline baby skin isn't very good, certainly not a dupe for Smashbox as some claim it to be. I found that it never "set" and my skin felt coated.

Thanks all

What does a primer do?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 17/05/2015 23:27

Lanacane is the dupe for smash box, it's the same ingredients.

coffeenut · 18/05/2015 04:57

Isn't the Bodyshop Vit C refiner an exfoliant?

singingbasket · 18/05/2015 05:22

I've started using L'Oréal Studio Secrets after reading about it on here. I have huge pores and find it really helps. It's about £14 but you only need a tiny amount so I think it's going to last ages.

Henbur1702 · 18/05/2015 05:35

I use the smasbix primer its a water textured spray.

Is BD back in tesco stores again?

gingerfluffball · 18/05/2015 09:03

Elf basic primer. Cost me about £4 and does the job fine.

monkeysmama · 18/05/2015 09:10

Yes, you're right, it's the Body Shop Reviver
