Footner socks question

I used the socks on Tuesday and have just noticed the peeling today. But it appears to only be in the areas that didn't have much hard skin. The heels and the pad under my little toe have not peeled yet. Please tell me they will eventually as they are the areas that needed the hard skin removed the most!

I'd completely forgotten I'd used them. Came out of the shower on the gym and could feel something under my foot. Thought it was a bit of plastic bag at first and then I realised!
