Grrr, annoying itchy flaky scalp

I've had issues for a few months with itchy, flaky areas on my scalp at the lower sides of my head, kind of above my ears. I've tried using Vosene, Head & Shoulders (which usually works wonder at using occasional bouts of dandruff, but hasn't helped this time), a gentle clarifying shampoo, none of which has helped. There is no problem over most of my scalp, just at the sides, I am at a loss of what to do next!

Any suggestions gratefully received.

That's seborrheic dermatitis.

You can use Ketoconazole shampoo (Nizoral). Or go to GP, he will prescribe mild steroid.

No problem. Make sure to leave the Nizoral (you can use it on your whole scalp, not just the ones with flakes) for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing.
