My beloved FHI's have literally gone up in smoke! What are the best straighteners on the market these days please?

I ordered some amazing ones off amazon for £20, think they've increased in price now though, they take a little while to heat up, maybe 10-15 seconds but are digital so you can choose how hot you want them, bear with me and I'll look for a link

Okay, amazon were extortionate £80 for the black ones. ebay are cheaper

here

they're pink though. but they vibrate, they straighten my hair so fast, and make it dead smooth. I was really really impressed, and I'm a GHD girl...

My hairdresser recommended cloud nine ones to me. Worke really well on my unruly hair!

Thanks all I will look into all your suggestions.

I think I read somewhere that the original GHD team sold out and are now behind Cloud Nine straighteners.

Remmingtons are great.

Another vote for Diva! And they often have them in TK Maxx Grin

Cloud 9, Apart from leaving my hair silky smooth, they stop power after 30 seconds when you put them down. No more coming home from work after nine hours & seeing that bloody red light still on.

I found a pair of GHDs stashed in a cupboard in the spare room, they were bought in a panic on a weekend away when I realised that I hadn't packed mine - the horror!

Might stick them on eBay as they're virtually unused, save for that one weekend.
