Any recommendations out there for the best, most comfortable (preferably leather), but still look good, flat pumps that could be worn either for work or the weekend?

French Sole are lovely and last for ages but are . I have some lovely black leather ballet flats from Topshop which were about 40. I also got some gorgeous tan and cream leather ones in TKMaxx which were only 25 down from 110.

I just bought a pair from Bloch. They are £££ but I got them from Amazon so a bit cheaper. They're really comfortable though. I tried some of Dune's but they wouldn't stay on my feet.

Thanks! I just looked at Bloch & French Sole ones on Amazon. They look lovely but more than I want to spend. Dune shoes never seem to work for my feet, unfortunately. Any other suggestions welcome! Would rather keep it to £50 max, although I tend to wear them to death if they're super comfortable. Thanks !

I love the Topshop ballet shoes, although they don't offer masses of support. They are about £14 and I buy a couple of pairs and go through them fairly quickly but wear them to death.

gabbybaby · 14/05/2015 14:03

I'll check what Top Shop have. I don't think they're leather for £14 though, but I'll check their selection. I have difficult feet! If they're not leather they'll rub so bad that I'll never wear them, and because my feet are narrow they'll fall off if they don't have any support. Still want them to look nice though! I'm a fussy customer!!

theoutnet.com often has French Sole and Bloch ballet pumps at reduced prices

polyhymnia · 14/05/2015 14:15

I recommend Pretty Ballerinas

honeylou42 · 14/05/2015 16:18

New Look leather pumps are fab and about 18 to 20 quid Smile

Superherosidekick · 14/05/2015 17:22

I've just bought a couple of pairs from Debenhams red herring, very comfortable but at £15 a pair obviously not leather!

Duckdeamon · 14/05/2015 17:55

Next has some, but the leather ones are expensive.

hippospot · 14/05/2015 19:58

Accessorize do some suede ones that I adore - very comfortable. They have elastic around the edges so they stay on, and an embellished bit or bow on the front, depending which style you go for.

HappyMedium · 14/05/2015 21:18

I got some vivo barefoot on Amazon after seeing recommendation on here. They are not leather. I am usually anti- non-leather but am finding these good and comfy and not smelly and have worn for smart and smart casual.

ygritte · 14/05/2015 21:43

Bloch are in TKMaxx currently for less than your budget.

gabbybaby · 15/05/2015 08:45

thanks for all your suggestions! I'm in the process of trawling through the recommendations. I've never posted a question on here before this one, but I love the responses so you'll hear from me more!!

Deichmann has some leather comfy ones

Bombinate · 15/05/2015 08:50

Hush puppies

dingit · 15/05/2015 08:54

Love mine from next £28, leather and they are fairly sturdy, not slippers like some Smile

Duckdeamon · 15/05/2015 09:02

I have those dingit, pretty good, comfy and lasted winter and walking lots well! Just bought some more black ones for next winter! Wish they did a wider range of colours.

ALittleFaith · 15/05/2015 09:21

Hush puppies janessa. Variety of colours to chose from, once broken in they are incredibly comfy!

Silverstreaks · 15/05/2015 11:32

Seconding Alittlefaiths suggestion, Hush puppies Janessa are soft leather, have a squishy sole and stay on your heel.
