Magic wire bra - is it really magic

Considering spending some ££s on a magic wire bra - I am large of bust and rib cage and find I suffer slippage from bra straps and discomfort from wire on occasion but nothing else gives the shape/ support I require.

I am currently in 38E but considering a 36F/G to see if that helps the fit in a new bra (have no desire for another fitting) I live looong way from big smoke so am ordering online.

considering this bra

Any thoughts? Cheers Smile

If you're really a 38E then that flimsy thing just isn't going to give you any support. Have you tried measuring following this guide?

I bought these and foubd them as uncomfortable as normal wired bras and sent them back. Plus they are padded and made my boobs look enormous.

op ( love your user name btw!)

that bra has no support at all, what do you measure around your ribs?

StatisticallyChallenged · 13/05/2015 18:43

Strap slippage is often a sign the band is too big. Measure according to the guide linked by SorrelForbes, it'll probably get you closer to the right fit than many fitters...especially any from M&S!

Thanks all - that is a great link v helpful Sorrel. I like that.

I want a plungey bra for a couple of plungey dresses I own. But getting the right measurement is key to success.Smile

Typically I can only find a metal tape measure and not my pliable dress making measure tchohHmm
