I'm off to a wedding in 6 weeks, I haven't been to a wedding for donkey's years and haven't a clue what to wear - nothing in wardrobe even vaguely suitable so it's time to hit the shops (or ebay preferably!). I'm not a shopping fan at all, so need to get this sorted quickly and painlessly...if that is possible!
Invited to church service, reception and evening do. A bit of a 'country set' in Somerset. I'm not expecting the evening do to be too stuffy or formal. Am with the bride's close family although as a 'plus one' rather than as a relative, but still don't want to let the side down!
Pretty tight budget, especially as I am unlikely to be off to another fancy do anytime soon. Probably need shoes too.
Am 44, 5ft9, dark shoulder length hair, slim (size 10/12) but apple shaped. Can't wear fussy prints or pale pastels. Don't do fussy clothes very well either.
Please help wise, stylish ones. Links to lovely stuff on ebay will make me truly, truly grateful
