Spring coat help

LittleMilla · 09/05/2015 20:51

I need a new spring coat but just don't know what to go for. Was thinking a beige trench but it seems a bit 'meh' and worried it would swamp me.

I'm 5ft 1, wear a size ten. Fat tummy, OK legs, small ish boobs. Hair is long and blonde and complexion wise, I tan but at the mo a little pale still.

Brands-wise I love cos and buy a lot of it from ebay! Always find loads of stuff I like in Gap, mint velvet etc.

Anyone seen anything awesome?!? You were all fab before when I needed a new dress x

I don't know how much you want to spend but I thought this was a bit more interesting than the average trench.

I also really like this Gap parka but I guess they may have really had their day.

Do you want something with colour? Can be more flattering than beige.

I've just splashed out on this in the camel colour. It looks amazing on, really smart thick cotton

I tried that lovely green one on in hobbs last week bit I found it far too short & I am only 5 foot one!

Oly4 · 11/05/2015 17:39

You might want the longer version.. It's called saskia and it's also lovely!

PetiteBateau · 11/05/2015 18:23

Oh didn't realise there was a longer one, will have a look. Thanks. You'd think the sales assistant might have mentioned that when I commented that this one was too short for what I was looking for!

Oly4 · 11/05/2015 19:27

It's here but sold out in anything under a size 14. If you're under this you could try john lewis or similar. They stock Hobbs

LittleMilla · 12/05/2015 20:17

Oh wow, those Hobbs ones are stunning! Not sure I could stretch to that much though. Ditto the all saints one.

Don't think I like the gap one (although more purse friendly!).

This is good, helping me realise that I would really like a trench I think!
