Palazzo pants/ wide leg trousers and STATIC

I bought these yesterday.

They fit beautifully, but the static cling is awful! I've half solved it by spraying the inside with hairspray, but after an hr or so they are stuck to my legs again Angry. Any good products to stop it?!

Also styling wise, was thinking wedges or sandals?

I've heard of rubbing moisturising lotion over tights if you get cling with skirts, no idea it that would work with bare legs though!

I read something on Pinterest that said a small safety pin pinned into the inside hem works. Haven't tried it myself but would be interested to hear if it does!

My mum said a safety pin! Or touching a piece of grounded metal!

I've got a long silky khaki skirt from zara that clings to my legs and arse cheeks! Will try the safety pin trick!

John lewis do an anti static spray, works brilliantly.
