Another vote for Dermalex cream.
Bellapierre mineral makeup. Only 3 ingredients.
Or Lily Lolo.
If your skin is oily then Lily Lolo mineral make up (with their concealer) if your skin is drier then Bellapierre which doesn't need separate concealer.
The only sunscreen I can use is Green People. Everything else leaves big lumps/cysts on my face and neck for weeks afterwards.
And avoid dimethecone and other silicones in products. Really aggravates mine. Makes my face redder almost instantly.
I'm very interested in the Hibiscrub. Not tried this yet. So off to Boots for some.
Also you can get GP to give you Finacea cream or Rosex cream. This works for some people.
I'm allergic to Lymecycline but had good success with erythromycin antibiotics. I took three separate courses (3/6 months) over several years. Sadly any effect has worn off and it no longer has any effect.
Lymecycline had an effect but I had a rare allergic reaction to it. Also be sure to mention to your GP if you suffer migraines. The bad reaction to Lymecycline mimics a migraine but if you were to take medication for migraine with it, like Triptans, you could have a stroke. I did but luckily vomited the medication so was very lucky. Anyway nothing to do with rosacea as such.
I have not found diet changes to be effective in any way at all. Even vegan or ultra low carb. Sadly. I don't really drink so that's not been an issue and even if I have a drink, I don't flush or go red (well redder).
I quit caffeine for 6 months with no effect either.
I would still give antibiotics or one of the creams from the GP a go. It can help for a long time.
