I don't wear eye make up every day but I have been using eye make up remover pads. They're not that great. Any good recommendations please?

I use facial wipes such as Simple. I also use them to give my face a wipe if I'm feeling grubby. Tesco do some cucumber ones which are very good value and smell lovely!

Dancergirl · 08/05/2015 09:43

I've found facial wipes not great at removing mascara.

Bioderma H2O micellar water, currently the one for oily skin, but the normal one is really good.

I use simple wipes too and they take my mascara off no problem.

Dumpylump · 08/05/2015 10:00

I use either camomile stuff from the body Shop, or Simple eye makeup remover. Both work well for me, although I usually just wear eyeliner and mascara - not a waterproof one, so I don't suppose they're having to work too hard.
I like both of them because they're not oily, I hate that feeling anywhere on my face, but particularly round my eyes!

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 08/05/2015 10:20

I use the camomile oil cleanser from body shop, no matter how much I rub it in my eyes it doesn't sting and you can feel the mascara disintegrating.

ohidoliketobe · 08/05/2015 10:27

I have fairly sensitive eyes and have found boots cucumber eye make up remover to be the best for me. Doesn't sting or feel greasy, and gets even waterproof mascara off. Plus it's only about £1.50 for a bottle and it lasts me ages

Artandco · 08/05/2015 10:32

Just water and sea sponge. I never use waterproof mascara though just regular due the waterproof ones being far more full of chemicals

Mabelface · 08/05/2015 10:34

Coconut oil and a hot flannel. Melts away waterproof mascara. My skin is lovely from using it too.

OnlyTheDepthVaries · 08/05/2015 13:14

I use Olay - cheap and shifts waterproof macara

BunnyLebowski · 08/05/2015 13:16

Wipes here too. I wear full makeup every single day and have never struggled with removing mascara with wipes (Garnier or Olay).

I don't have the patience for using more than one product to remove my makeup. Wipes then cleanse properly. Job done.

Loreal micellar gel eye make up remover, best I've ever tried, amazing stuff.

XiCi · 08/05/2015 13:38

I use the Klorane one. Lovely smell, removes all make up and is great for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers

Dancergirl · 08/05/2015 14:42

Where do you buy the klorane one XiCi?

Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Makeup Remover Gel.

Brilliant stuff, and cheap as chips.

Howaboutthisone · 08/05/2015 19:22

No7 eye make up remover. It's amazing! Shifts waterproof mascara really easily and is really gentle despite this.

DarkNavyBlue · 08/05/2015 19:43
