Sunscreen over makeup

Can anyone recommend any sunscreens that can be bought in the UK that can go over makeup? Read a review on a spray sunscreen mist thing with super high spf and uva protection that you just spray over makeup.

Unfortunately it was only available in Korea but wondering if there is anything similar available here?

Surely the make up will stop the sunscreen from doing its job? I just put mine on underneath.

Surely if it's a mist you couldn't really apply enough of it to get the advertised protection? I thought 'use more than you think you need' was the way to go with sunscreen.
