Nivea in the blue tub. From a convert who has suffered years of dry skin!

Allie82 · 08/05/2015 21:28

Body or face? Aveeno is amazing for the body

dottypyjamas · 08/05/2015 21:33

Blue nivea here too, very dry skin and it is fab

Maraki · 08/05/2015 21:48

I have super dry and sensitive skim with mild psoriasis and swear by Astral as a night cream. For day Clarins Hydra Quench is good enough and not too greasy so that makeup doesn't slip off.

WhoisLucasHood · 08/05/2015 21:50

Blue nivea too. I have greasy skin but I use it as a night cream.

TeamEponine · 08/05/2015 21:54

I use Simple Regeneration on my face, Aveeno on my body. I have very dry and sensitive skin, but this combination works really well for me.

Regular exfoliating also makes a huge difference, and I occasionally use facial oil before bed.

I love Boots essential moisture

Gem124 · 08/05/2015 23:22

Boots No7 range!

AmelieinOz · 08/05/2015 23:24

Physiogel with 3 drops of Rosehip oil. Works wonders.

Petitgrain · 08/05/2015 23:31

Nivea in the blue pot here too. Has changed my life, skin wise. I wish I'd known about it 20 years ago.

GammonAndEgg · 09/05/2015 22:44

What's the difference between the blue pot and the white pot?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/05/2015 23:08

White is Nivea Soft - I think there were a few posts about people having sensitivity to the Soft one though.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/05/2015 23:11

What about SteamCream?

Tesco sell it (I had a quick sample of it, I don't like lavender, but I thought if its nice, I could try and overcome the revulsion)

It is nice (and vegan) hurrah but it is too lavendery for me.

You can get it much cheaper online

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 10/05/2015 08:14

Allergenics from Holland and Barret, best thing I've found for dry skin.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 10/05/2015 08:15

Steam cream stinks, and I like lavender!!Grin It goes off very quickly too and their customer service is dreadful ime

Dr Organics Aloe Vera. Best cream I've ever used (and I've used a LOT!)

Bursarymum · 10/05/2015 08:22

Elemis Marine Cream. It's very expensive though so the kind of thing you might ask for as a birthday treat. It is excellent. The other moisturisers they do are cheaper and also very good though.

I was always a fan of MD Formulations but unfortunately that is no longer available in the UK.

yazzy85 · 10/05/2015 10:53

Vichy Normaderm Anti ageing..its fab on my combination skin

5446 · 10/05/2015 13:50

Nivea in a blue pot broke me out.

Aveena do a good one for dry skin, as do Origins.
