Do I *need* light reflecting loose setting powder on my wedding day?

Had a bridal make over from Nars recently, and she recommended this on top of foundation, but under bronzer and blusher. I know nothing of make up, so don't know if this is really necessary (she said I'd look'flawless' in pics) - or would any other loose translucent powder do just as good a job?

The pressed version isn't as magical as the loose for some reason but it's not bad.

I might have to suck it up and go for the loose then, I need magic at the moment!

My makeup lady used the ELF hd loose powder on me and I had no issue with flashback. X
