How to soften a leather skirt?

I have a fantastic leather mini, but because it's new, it's sitting a bit oddly. I know when it softens up I won't take it off me all summer, but does anyone know any quick way to break it in? All I can think of is just wearing it around the house for the next few weeks!

It depends on the leather but you could try saddle soap and / or neatsfoot oil. It should work if the leather is quite thick and stiff but if it's a very fine grain, thin leather then it might be a bit too harsh.

Thanks Pumpkinette, I'll google them and see if they might be suitable. I should have probably said in my OP that the skirt is powder blue, so I'll have to be careful of products on it.

You could put it in the tumple dryer on low for a few minutes? Some fashion person (might be the J Crew lady) swears by immersing her leather trousers in warm water then tumble drying once in a while to sort out bags

Thanks FiftyShades, that might work. I think the dryer might have a cool setting.
