Confused Oval face, fine brown hair. It's shoulder length at the moment and I have an appointment next week.

Many thanks Thanks

The first one. I had that style and loved it!

daftyburd · 04/05/2015 16:00

I like the 3rd (blonde) one. I also love a pixie cut, My cousin one a bit shorter than the pic and she has an oval face.

LadySybilLikesSloeGin · 04/05/2015 16:34

This one? a lot a bit of salt spray should do it, I think Grin

That one the Carey Mulligan one is the nicest of all the styles you have put up. All the styles were nice but to me that is the stand out one.

LadySybilLikesSloeGin · 04/05/2015 16:48

Oh, think that's the one! Smile

be wary of a pixie cut op if you have fast growing hair

i have had 3 or 4 versions of said cut and sometimes it has grown out of shape in literally days

Eliza22 · 05/05/2015 18:40

OP, what does salt spray do?

LadySybilLikesSloeGin · 05/05/2015 18:42

Makes it look sea swept, gives the layers a bit more definition.

Maybe a pixie is a bad move Sad I think a bob in the hope that I can make it a shaggy bob is a bad move too. I tried scrunching it when it was wet last night and that did absolutely naff all. Back to the drawing board Sad

The Carey is lovely.

Eliza22 · 05/05/2015 19:01

And it's not what I'd call a pixie.

Coumarin · 05/05/2015 19:53

I always think of pixies as a bit frumpy.Blush Where I live, as soon as women hit 45 they all seem to get the same cropped haircut.

I like the Carey one and the first one in your very first post. Much more modern.

Cocolepew · 05/05/2015 19:58

I like the Carey one too, its not a pixie though. Not short enough.

LadySybilLikesSloeGin · 05/05/2015 20:00

Oh, I'm confused! Blush It's really fine (there's a lot of it though so I'm not bald), it doesn't wave, it doesn't curl and it knots if it's long and I try to leave it down, and it's quick growing. I've had a bob and it doesn't curl underneath so goes flat and looks dull. Argh!

I'm a bit confused, you say you don't want a bob but two of the first pics are bobs.

LadySybilLikesSloeGin · 05/05/2015 21:00

Yup. I don't think I have a choice. Farking hair seems to like dull bobs Sad I don't know what else to do with it.
