Are they worth a try for a quid each?

(the girls have been rummaging through my make up bag & managed to smash several items into a gazillion pieces each Sad )

Wherestherealme · 04/05/2015 11:55

Mamabird3 · 04/05/2015 12:02

I really like the mua products, the bronzer, blushers and lipsticks are great. The loose powder is also really good but I'm not a fan of the pressed powder as I find they're a little orange toned for my very pale skin.

Mum2Pea · 04/05/2015 12:09

i am currently using the pressed powder and really like it - will buy again

lucysmam · 04/05/2015 14:04

This is good! Thank you all, I'll have a proper look at them in town tomorrow morning Smile

I use MUA mosaic bronzer which is about 2.50 and comes in three different colour combos depending on your skin, I'm super pale so usually struggle with bronzer but LOVE this stuff! Also bought one of their £4 eyeshadow palettes and love it :)

Lj8893 · 04/05/2015 14:24

Love Mua stuff! The primer is fantastic and their lipsticks are the closest I have found to MAC in a budget range. Haven't tried their bronzer but I will!

lucysmam · 04/05/2015 16:04

I don't often wear lipstick Lj, might have a look for one while I'm there. I nearly picked up a neutral one in Primarni for a quid on Friday but put it back down again.

I find the ones in the white packaging more pigmented and bolder, but the ones in the black packaging more muted so if you do fancy a lippy, the black ones might be more suitable for you?

lucysmam · 04/05/2015 16:27

That's handy to know, thank you, I'll have a look at the ones in black packaging.

Mua Lipsticks are great, also the eyebrow pallet is a must buy! They also have a make up fox spray to keep all in place which is good! If be interested to hear what people have thought of there foundations? Still can't find a cheaper decent one than my revlon DNA age/ Estée lauder double wear hmmm

GunShotResidue · 07/05/2015 14:36

I use the £1 bronzer to contour when going out as it isn't sparkly.

The £1 pressed powder I use to set my make up, I have some small scars and uneven tone and it just blurs everything.

I use their powder concealer and love that too. I love a bargain!

mewkins · 07/05/2015 14:38

Yes they are great. How old are your girls? I have some bright mua eyeshadows that i let my dd (5) paint all over her face, arms etc too!

Sallystyle · 07/05/2015 14:47

I have been trying to place an order but the bloody website keeps saying my password is invalid. I know it isn't as it is the same one I use all the time. Tried to reset it a few times but no email arrived.

I was wanting the matte eye shadows and the eyebrow kit. Will order from Superdrug.

lucysmam · 07/05/2015 15:03

They're 8 and 5yo mewkins. They had a whale of a time rummaging Grin Even re-discovered some bits I had forgotten all about!

I love my high end make up, use lots of Estée Lauder, Clinique and Benefit but I'm on my second mosaic bronzer from MUA they are excellent I use it to contour my cheekbones and temples. Not found another product to compare. Also highly recommend their version of Cliniques Chubby Sticks.
