I need help to find a functional swimming costume on a low budget

I just need something to take the children swimming in, however I can't find anything that fits at around the £20 mark. I'm a size 8-10 but bf and a 30FF bra size, so all the cheaper costumes I've found which go by dress size don't fit around my bust. So I looked for one's which are sized according to bust measurements (began my search at bravissimo) but I can't afford £40+. Has anyone seen anything that could work?

Have a look at the Bravissimo etc ones on ebay? I am currently watching a Freya tankini in my bra size which is at £3.46 with an hour or so to go.

Not sure what they have, but I usually look at SwimShop as they're really good value.

mysteryfairy · 04/05/2015 08:28

I got a Freya active swim tankini in a 30g for around £20 delivered off eBay recently. I could have bought a one piece for a similar price if I wasn't too tall.

Found my speedo at TKMaxx, they had loads of swimsuits at reasonable prices. I find it better to buy in store though as sizes seem to vary so much.

I'm a 32FF at the moment with breastfeeding and just got a cheapo £5.99 Speedo one from Sports Direct. It's got a cross back so hold everything in place and does the job! I did the same as you to start though and was shocked by the prices!

I'm a size 10, 28g bust, and I wear the Slazenger boyleg costume from Sports Direct. Less than a tenner, and they are nice and covering for taking children swimming, but loads of ladies at my lane swimming sessions wear them too

I'm 30F and rang wiggle for advice, they have a huge clearance sale at the moment and are really good.

I kitted us all out for swimming and cycling only last week.

30E and my £10 from tesco is fine.

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 04/05/2015 08:53

Thanks for the suggestions. I e tried a few cheapo ones but they felt like I was having my chest bound! I'm more confident I'll find something now, thanks.

mines the 2nd one, but the 1st one was a contender too. it gives me more cleavage than it does the model, but worth a try maybe.
