Good evening mumsnetters,

I'm normally more of a lurker but in dire need of some advice if anyone would be kind enough to offer some. I have this dress and am hoping to wear it to a family wedding next month but am stumped about how best to accessorise etc.

It's a church wedding followed by a reception in quite a posh hotel. I'm 5'6" and a size 10 but the dress is a good bit longer on me than on the model in the photo. I need shoes (preferably peep toes that are "walkable" in), a bag, some jewellery and possibly some type of headpiece.

Any help will be gratefully accepted. Thanks x

Sorry - being cheeky and shamelessly bumping…

Jewellery wise I'd get a statement bracelet and earrings but no necklace due to where the neckline sits. And I'd go for dark grey/ pewter shoes :-)

Thank you Gem for the advice - now for a bit of shopping!

Do you have a better photo of the dress? It's a bit hard to see what it's like. Pewter sounds good though.
