I don't have the budget for ghds or similar but the ones I have are crap. Can I get a reasonable pair for £30 ish? If so can anyone recommend any please?

Hi, I have the Babyliss pro 235 straighteners and they really are brilliant. I've had GHD's in the past, these are just as good. They get very good reviews on Amazon which is why I chose them. I will try and put the link on but I'm on the app so sometimes it doesn't work:

Another vote for the Babyliss Pro 235 ones.

I've never had any other ones, I bought these purely based on the reviews and wasn't disappointed.

Thanks all! I happen to have some amazon vouchers too - off to check them both out.

Remington Colour Protect ones - absolutely fab, use them over my GHD's.

or £20 ish in Argos at the moment, I got mine in Aldi for £15, about 5 months ago, a real bargain!

burnishedsilver · 03/05/2015 09:51

Remington.
I'm very happy with these.

Mrsj70 · 03/05/2015 09:57

I can also recommend Remingtons, I have GHDs but prefer the Remington

Remington, 20 quid in Aldi, they're amazing. I think they're probably in Argos too.

Ninjamouse · 03/05/2015 11:10

Definitely the Remington colour protect ones for £20. I'm absolutely amazed by how good they are! Equally as good as my old ghds, I'm so glad I didn't pay £££££ again!

I have those babyliss ones they are great and touch wood still going after 5 years!
