Dark grey wide fit shoes?

I seem to have been looking all day. Do you have any ideas where i might find some?. They are to go with this dress. I have ordered a blush coloured jacket to go with it.

Or any other ideas about shoes very welcome but must be wide. Could i get away with black?. It is for a formal work occasion / celebration.

The closest I have come is pale grey clarks on ebay but they are not right.

I think if you can't find grey, you may be able to get away with a blush pink/nude to pick up on the colour of the pattern. What sort of heel height are you after?

Mid heel. I will be working in them all day so can't be too high. Blush heels and blush jacket too much? I don't think a dark colour jacket would work.

Try Next - they do a surprising range of wide fit shoes. I have a pair of wide fit heeled work shoes from them and always get compliments when i wear them. Need to order though - don't seem to be in store.

That's a tricky colour to find. I was looking for grey sandals a few years back, and ended up with some dull silvery ones, because that was as close as I could get.

I think black would work, but only if you choose something delicate/strappy so it's not too overpowering. Tricky with wide feet, I know.

Or a blush colour, as suggested?

maybe a bit too taupey rather than grey if they're described as mushroom (though they do look grey in the pic.) How about these?

Ooh, I have that dress. It's lovely, one of my favourites. I usually wear it with pale tan heels, which works with the blush and peachy coloured print. For wide fitting shoes, try Evans.

bikerunski i did have a look at silver but i think slingbacks would be too casual for this event. I own those coral courts but they aren't right. They don't seem to be right with anything actually. Still in the box.

Both pairs of block heels are a good colour, I just don't like block heels.

maybe i need go think about the jacket. Mangobiscuit what colour jacket do you wear? Love the dress. All the colours that best suit me rolled into one!

I reckon you could do coral with that dress. A brighter shade of the 'blush' and lots more around at the moment (Clarks have kitten heel courts in that colour). Maybe another coral accessory - earrings or necklace - to tie it together.

Sorry, can't help with jacket suggestions. I am yet to find one that doesn't look ridiculous on my top heavy frame.
