Bra/dress help!

I've bought a dress for a night out next week. Turns out the sides are lower than normal and all my bras can be seen above the sides of the dress by about 1.5 inches.

It doesn't help that I'm a larger size and need a 38/36 g. Can anyone help me find something online on time?

Are you sure of your size as 36g is totally different in cup volume of 38g?

thebetterbracampaign.blogspot.co.uk/p/fitting-advice.html?m=1 - measure according to this and we can advise of sizes/styles to try

Well I should be 36g according to the measurements but that size feels like it's really digging in after a few hours! I can re measure tonight when I get my boys to bed though.

But if a 38g fits better then that would mean the sister size would be 36gg as that would give the same cup volume on the smaller back size

Would it stop it digging in if I got the gg?

It would help - if the cup is too small it steals fabric from the band
