Has anyone dyed their hair silver grey?

I just did the jerome Russell one from super dug on my already white blonde hair. It didn't work. right anyone know if directions is more steely grey than purple?

Yup, that's the colour of mine.

I was blue before, so bleached it, then put on Directions Silver.

The dye really sticks to the bleached parts, so you shouldn't need to touch up too often.

But you will have to use a toner every time (or every 2nd time) you wash your hair, so it doesn't get yellow tones. Perfecton is fantastic for this.

*Truly" Directions silver is quite a light silver grey. Although it looks purple when you put it on!

Haven't gone grey myself but when I was bleaching repeatedly over a number of weeks to try and remove henna, I picked up the tip to smooth melted coconut oil into hair at least 2 hours before bleaching - I found this offered some protection & now always try to remember to use when bleaching as the difference was so noticeable. Something to keep in mind for home bleaching.

Was at the bleach again yesterday so if I got Directions silver that would do?

Cocolepew the Directions worked for me, don't leave it on too long though, if you've bleached recently it will be very porous, and you don't want purple!

Lots & lots of oil too to try to repair the bleach damage.

I did directions this morning, it's better, but I wanted it more like flora's. Still quite yellow on ends, so touch up next shampoo. I'm too impatient, needs to be on longer.
