Could a tattoo be the answer?

I have on my chin ugly patches of red skin leftover from acne I had 25 - 30 years ago. There is no pitting or raised scars, just discolouration.

I always hoped it would fade over time, but it hasn't.

I absolutely hate it.

I have been wondering about covering it with a flesh coloured tattoo. I don't even know if this is possible.

Any thoughts?

I would have thought you'd be better off with laser treatment or suchlike

I've never heard of a flesh tattoo

I think thats a recognised way to cover scars, permanent 'make up' tattooed over the area, and some practitioners specialise in this, e.g. www.debrarobsonldn.co.uk/scar-camouflage-medical-semi-permanent-make-up.html.

Have you tried dermablend?

I've never heard of a flesh coloured tattoo.

Hi I remember reading an article about cosmetic tattoos recently. I managed to find it.

Hi there

Slightly off topic but I've had laser treatment which turned a nasty looking purple scar into skin colour. It was a bit pricey but worth every penny.

LonelyLinda, can you give me more details? What kind of laser treatment at what kind of clinic? How much did it cost? Thanks.
