Facial moisturisers without mineral oil or lanolin please?

I too have been reading Caroline Hirons and think I need a non pore clogging face cream. How do I know if my moisturiser has mineral oil in it?

Do they ever just say "Mineral Oil" or are there specific ingredients I should be looking for that mean it contains mineral oil?

Or can anyone recommend a face cream?

Mineral oil is actually not very pore clogging (there is a thing called comedogenicity scale and in modern studies, mineral oil is a low scorer on it - see for example here). I have very oil-sensitive skin but some of the best acne-neutral moisturizers I have found by trial and error (Eucerin, LRP Effaclar products) are mineral oil derived. Natural oils, on the other hand, are something I really avoid as I get awful festering acne cysts from them.

How to choose a moisturizer: pick those that say that they are noncomedogenic. Your chances of getting it right increase considerably. I really like parapharmacie products.

It's Paraffinum liquidum on ingredients lists OP.
I avoid it too as it causes breakouts for me (not everyone) and doesn't actually do anything to benefit so far as I know

parafinim liquidum and anything paraffin derived is mineral oil based but I find Shea butter which is quite an occlusive too
dimethicone and silicon based ingredients also give me blackheads
