How to prep my skin for tomorrow?

My skin is shit dry/dehydrated and I have been following a new skincare rountine after lots of research and threads, while my skin doesn't really look that dry at the moment the second I put any makeup on it just seems to sit on my skin and appears dry and patchy!

I'm off to a wedding tomorrow and want to look half decent so I have been taking extra care the past 2 weeks, spending time on my skincare popping on plenty of clairins blue orchard oil and avene hydration cream etc.

I have either beauty flash balm or revlon photoready primer to use under my makeup tomorrow

But can anyone give any tips on anything else I can do to try and help within the next 20 hours?

I was looking at the photo ready primer last week, is it nice?

Start layering cream at about 6 pm. So put on cream then again an hour later and then before bed, work well for me when I'm parched.

Bit late now but Allergenics intensive cream form Holland and Barrett is fab for flaky bits.

Have a lovely time at the weddingSmile

Have you thought of using a bb cream instead of foundation?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/04/2015 16:21

Or mixing some cream in with your foundation?

Yes I do like the photoready primer, before my skin turned so rubbish it was amazing and gave me flawless skin under my make up!

Currently loading my skin, oil on have time to sink in and been putting on plenty of cream!

I also gave a light exfoliant this morning to.

Wondering if I should cleanse etc tonight and in the morning or just leave it and load with moisture? I have no make up in today and washed thoroughly earlier

Too late now but if you can get to a Boots, buy some La Roche Pasay Cicaplast and use tonight as a moisturiser and use tomorrow under your make-up.

It's magic stuff, I've used under make up when I my face has been so dry it's been sore and it's worked wonders.

Drink as much water as you humanly can, as well

Homepride1 · 30/04/2015 18:12

I was going to try the la Roche posey cicaplast, but I just can't make any sense of there products, from reading on here they are skyways recommend for oily/spotty skin. If they do products to help dry/dehydrated skin I would love done advice

Water you say? I will do it but it will be tough I am a tea queen

The Ciciplast is good stuff, I've used it.
