Looking for waterproof/smudge proof mascara

I don't mind or cheap or high end. I am not in the UK so don't have Boots or Superdrug but can get most brands in chemists or dept stores. Have tried tubing mascaras & I don't like having to rub lashes to remove them. I also had bits flaking off & smudging. Most mascara seem to smudge on me so the only thing I haven't tried is a waterproof one. I need it to be easily removed.

Max Factor Masterpiece waterproof mascara

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/04/2015 14:32

Maybelline Great Lash waterproof is fantastic and I like No 7 waterproof for sensitive eyes too.

HelenF350 · 30/04/2015 14:41

Another vote for masterpiece max, I won't use anything else.

EpitomeOfFrump · 30/04/2015 14:45

I used to work outdoors in all weathers and the only mascara that never ran was Rimmel 100% waterproof. I still use it now and makes my lashes look long and thick.

hugoagogo · 30/04/2015 15:34

I use rimmel, cheap and it comes in brown black too.

I look really weird in black mascara Confused

Kittykat7 · 01/05/2015 14:52

Thanks I'll have a look at the Rimmel one

Maybelline the rocket waterproof is amazing but you will need an eye makeup remover to get it off! I find the Nivea biphase one to work well x

There really is no beating Benefit They're Real!

OneLittleLady · 01/05/2015 21:12

really rate the rimmel scandeleyes waterproof. comes in a bright orange tube

Jaeme · 03/05/2015 00:30

Make up forever Aqua smoky lash

cuntyMcCunterson · 03/05/2015 01:28

I second benefit they're real. I wore it on my wedding day. I was a wee bit hugely emotional but my mascara didn't budge.

I now wear it daily to work and even on 18hr shifts it doesn't smudge or flake.

Kittykat7 · 03/05/2015 02:58

Can u ask what eye make up remover is best to remove waterproof mascara or They're Real?I usually use Simple as I have sensitive eyes.

The OP said no tubing mascaras, and I think that's what They're Real are.

I have had pretty good success at removing They're Real with the Garnier remover that is for waterproof makeup. However, I have never gotten it all off with one go. I always have to clean something up under my eyes in the morning.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 03/05/2015 10:38

Kitty- L'oreal micellar eye makeup remover gel is amazing for sensitive eyes.

itsmeitscathy · 03/05/2015 12:31

they're real isn't a tubing mascara - it smudges on me.

The only one I can wear is the Gold no7 one but it's def tubing and not available.

Kittykat7 · 03/05/2015 13:38

Thanks I haven't seen a loreal Micellar water here. We have Garnier though. I have heard good & bad about They're Real. The main thing is it being hard to remove & dries out quick. I bet it would smudge on me though. I thought I'd try Christian Dior I Lash Addict. I have read good reviews. One review was from an Australian so it stands up to the heat here. I don't mind if it's not waterproof I just want long wear with no smudges.

I tried the I Lash addict today & it was terrible. I had black smudges after 2 hrs. Luckily the girl on the counter let me try some as I would have wasted $52.
