How to style a quilted bomber?

Just bought a pale grey quilted bomber from the Gap sale (£16 down from £50!) - was thinking of wearing with an off white draped t and blue skinnies but it feels a bit boring... Looks nice with an eau de nil loose vest top too. Struggling to work out what else to wear it with though. Tried it on with a few higher necked tops and it didn't look quite right.

Low cut red top underneath would be good.
Or cerise pink.
Or even that bright yellow.

Giant Creoles, lamé leggings and hi-tops.

Like Neneh Cherry on Top of the Pops.

I wish I was that cool tether.

I'd end up looking like that "yeah but no but" character from Little Britain.
