I'm about to start a "walking" commute - up and down from tube, hike to station etc

Please could you recommend a pair of stylish trainers which would suit wider feet? Budget up to £100 but comfort over style please.

Get some proper running shoes from a specialist shop if that's your budget. They usually offer free gait analysis to help you choose the right pair. Asics and New Balance are nice and wide and look good too. They'll be up to the job of pounding the pavement much better than fashion trainers and will provide a lot more support for you.

Thank you Leviticus - it sounds like NB might not be too dowdy to wear as well as comfy.
