No help but WineCake for your birthday

Pantsalive · 28/04/2015 22:46

A dress or trousers and an amazing top?

Redrosesarethebest · 28/04/2015 22:50

I was thinking trousers and top as I can't find a dress but depending on what people can find maybe a dress

I really like this but I'll keep looking.

You sound like me! I too like navy. My favourite look at the mo is navy skinny trousers from h&m £14.99 (which go with everything). Heels - try dune or m&s. And then look at oasis for tops. They've got some lovely ones. Bet you can do all that for about £60! happy birthday!

Pantsalive, I love that dress Smile

Some great dresses here: www.baukjen.com/uk/shop/baukjen/dresses

I know they are over budget but there will definitely be a decent code around it you like them.

I wasn't quite sure if you need shoes, etc all in for 60 pounds or if you have some in mind already. New Look worth a look for reasonably priced shoes that look more expensive than they are.

Pantsalive · 29/04/2015 09:55

Me too. It wouldn't suit me but it caught my eye.

I hope that's problem solved then as I didn't come up with anything else. I got distracted by fancy navy trousers but couldn't see a top.

Have a lovely birthday!

Redrosesarethebest · 29/04/2015 10:01

No shoes needed, have quite a collection of different types and colours Grin

It's my 40th shortly too and I've just ordered that dress thanks to this thread! Hope you find something.

Pantsalive · 29/04/2015 17:14

Oh, that's exciting Cakecrumbs. So glad it's loveliness is being recognised. Hope you have a wonderful birthday too.

I also like this one , just in case any soon-to-be-40-year-olds are looking for an alternative and it's a real bargain. I'm really tempted if I didn't have such bingo wings.

Redrosesarethebest · 29/04/2015 17:25

Love that one as well Pants!

That dress is lovely OP

Have you considered a jumpsuit? Some fab ones around, I actually wore a navy jumpsuit for my 40th birthday dinner late last year. I got it in New Look but have since seen really fab ones I think Little Mistress do a nice navy one too. Good heels and jewellery and you're good to go!

Whatever you choose, have a great time

Redrosesarethebest · 29/04/2015 20:53

I have a navy jumpsuit, both in long leg and short leg, wore the long legged on last year on my birthday, but admittedly I do love them both
