I never come on s&b unless its to brag about my charity shop finds....!
But stuff I don't find is a good womens white tee.
Scoop or v neck,no cleavage showing, relaxed womens fit, good heavy quality.
No crew news (short neck)

Any suggestions,please?

I want this too! Saw some good ones on h&m's site, but I bet they're see through. Hoping to pop in today and investigate

SugarMiceInTheRain · 28/04/2015 08:31

I have this problem too. Gap used to do some nice thick ones that you couldn't see bras through but theirs aren't as good as they used to be. That said, I find most clothes seem to be made of much thinner fabric than they used to be

White Company ones are worth the extra £££
There's usually a 20% off code knocking around

AnyFucker · 29/04/2015 20:11

I need a white t shirt too

I usually like the H+M organic cotton ones, but the sizing is odd this year

Carlywurly · 29/04/2015 20:20

My best one is white stuff a few years back. Flattering scoop neck and thick soft fabric that you can't see through. The quality's nowhere near as good now so I'd keep an eye out on ebay to replace it.

Walkingonsunshine00 · 29/04/2015 20:21

H&M
Primark
Tesco actually do good ones

Celeriacacaca · 29/04/2015 20:22

M&S Limited Edition modal scoop neck t-shirts are brilliant. Only problem is they don't seem to have any online at mo - just the long sleeve version www.marksandspencer.com/modal-blend-scoop-neck-t-shirt/p/p60059500 (equally brilliant). Keep an eye on the website and hopefully they'll have them soon. They're lovely fabric, thick enough to not see bra and wash brilliantly while keeping shape. I bought 6 last year and wish I'd bought more. Have lived in the long sleeve version over winter.

AnyFucker · 29/04/2015 20:28

I don't like modal, I find it clingy

MatildaTheCat · 29/04/2015 20:37

Primark. Every time. They wash well, have lots of different styles and are just as ethical as Gap et al.

Every white tshirt will go yellow under the arms before too long, IMO no point spending £££.

cannaethink · 29/04/2015 21:25

Amazon have Fruit of the Loom v neck t shirts. I got some of the crew neck ones last year and was pleased. They say value weight but are actually nice and thick. Very cheap too!

Coastingit · 29/04/2015 22:06

Primark. They have pure cotton white tees and cheap as chips, as a pp said, but cheap and often for tees.

AlwaysDancing1234 · 29/04/2015 22:07

Marks and Spencer's?

OldRoan · 29/04/2015 22:09

I love Banana Republic 'essential' t shirts, but the v neck might be a little bit too low?

CheekyBambino · 29/04/2015 22:15

I've bought a great one from Jigsaw, but it isn't cheap as chips! Has a scoop neck that doesn't show cleavage and a double thickness at the front so that your bra doesn't show through. Think they also do short sleeved ones for summer. Kettellwell Colours also do a huge range of t shirts/tops so worth checking their sales. Ill have to check the M&S ones mentioned above, along with the others. Also found Gap ones disappointing.
