Hair extensions splitting after less than a week

Help! I had (real hair) hair extensions put in on Wednesday and nearly every hair has a split end or is snapping half way up the hair. They've been washed once and heat styled once, and before they were washed I put a conditioning treatment on.

I'm going to complain tomorrow but I'm worried in case there's something I've done?

It sounds like they are cheap Chinese extensions that have been dyed and damaged. Doesn't sound like you have done anything wrong. I had real hair extensions(great lengths) and they lasted around 4-5 months. I would go back and mane ask them to replace.
