Totally agree.

I never understand why they're so hyped on here. They're crap.

frankietwospots · 26/04/2015 22:04

I have one and it was so drying that I only wore it once. I waste sooo much money on lipsticks. The latest waste of money is the new Revlon HD lipsticks. Don't bother people.

Judydreamsofhorses · 26/04/2015 22:09

I have Hot Rose and Fire Red sinners, and love them. They wear really well and feel comfortable. Maybe try one of the more dense formulas?

LondonRocks · 26/04/2015 23:45

Agree. Drying and a waste of money.

LordEmsworth · 27/04/2015 09:31

I have a Sinner lipstick and I love it. Deep colour, stays ages, not drying. I've tried Medieval and I didn't really like it. But the one I have, I love

I'm not mad about Medieval (though I like the colour a lot) but the texture/staying power of the Sinners are brilliant. Have a couple of others I like as well.

niminypiminy · 27/04/2015 12:59

I have a Velvet Rope which is amazing - though actually I don't like the colour very much, Private Party which is just too bright pink for me (was a present from my sister). But staying power and depth of colour are outstanding, and it has a lovely velvety texture which is nice to wear and not drying.

leedy · 27/04/2015 13:03

Yeah, I have one of the Silver Screen ones (You Kid) and it's gorgeous to wear. Pricey, mind.

MrsCampbellBlack · 27/04/2015 13:05

I tried medieval and was pretty disappointed - I couldn't really see it on my lips at all.

Bought a lovely byterry one recently which is very nice.

MrsCampbellBlack · 27/04/2015 13:06

And I had a good look at the range last week in space nk and thought the packaging looked really cheap. And superficially, I do like a nicely packaged lipstick.

niminypiminy · 27/04/2015 13:11

In terms of barely-there transparent but coloured lipstick in my opinion there is no product to beat Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey.

leedy · 27/04/2015 13:16

I do like Black Honey but I wore it so much in the 90s I got a bit bored with it. Maybe it's time for a revisit...

Other excellent sheers: Ilia Beauty tinted lip conditioners. They're technically a tinted balm but have LOADS of pigment.

MilkThistle187 · 27/04/2015 14:41

No! Medieval is my favourite everyday lipstick,

Fillybuster · 27/04/2015 14:48

I love my lipstick queen lipsticks, especially the Saint Wine and Sinner Wine. Got some fab glittery ones too. But I do agree that Medieval is a bit disappointing: colour is way too thin, texture is lovely but too light and the whole thing basically disappears in 30 seconds.

Charityworker34 · 27/04/2015 14:52

I like Medieval but find it's not too moisturising. I get a similar (but more moisturising) effect from Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose

polyhymnia · 27/04/2015 14:55

By Terry are in different league from LQ. I agree with PP.

Smarterthantheaveragebeaver · 27/04/2015 15:10

I got a set of 3 for Christmas. Theyre like chubby sticks. I think theyre called Chinatown. Love them.

MooMinCow · 27/04/2015 19:31

Yup, believed the hype and bought the trio from TKMaxx. Absolute crap no pigment (and stank like Crayola crayons, yuk)

Give me a MAC or Revlon Super Lustrous lippy any day!)

Saurus72 · 27/04/2015 20:39

Charityworker I LOVE the Korres lip butters, they are absolutely gorgeous. Cheap, last ages, really moisturising and such flattering colours. I love the Quince and Coral ones, may try the Rose one next. I also love Korres nail polish too, fabulous.
