Wedding outfit help.

Ladies I need your help. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant and seemed to have blown up like a balloon. I have a wedding to go to in two weeks. None of my clothes fit and some are very fitted. I don't mind not looking really skinny but I'd rather not look six months pregnant.
Don't want to spend a fortune and thinking it would be nice to have something that will last me for any dos throughout the pregnancy. I have some nice slim fit black trousers that are elasticated at the waist I could wear.

Oh I'm a size 16 on top and 14 on bottom usually and very big in the bust.

How about something deliberately loose like this with heels and clutch?

That's a bloody lovely dress Tethers, you've such an eye.

A wrap dress would be perfect if you are busty. From one busty woman to another.

I really like that green dress tethers something like that should hide the tum so I don't feel huge. Not sure I'd suit the colour although I like it.
The maternity ones are nice but anything cut under the bust makes me look pregnant anyway as I have a bit of a tum add in the bloating and I'll look huge. I don't want people at the wedding to know yet.

What colours do you like / suit you? do you like print?

ineedsomeinspiration · 26/04/2015 20:21

I look nice in black, red, gold, deep purple, olive greens. I like patterns, lace, beading etc.

I was only suggesting maternity wear as it usually doesn't look like maternity wear and is actually flattering to a tummy but you'd get more wear out of it for the rest of your pregnancy. I'd agree with a wrap dress though. I think that smock shape dresses can make you look bigger than you are, especially with a 'chest shelf' it can hang from.

Good luck in your search!
