Work trousers

Hi all

I usually wear dresses for work but in a moment of madness bought these trousers today in whistles. I work in a professional, client facing environment (think legal/accounting) and having doubts now whether these are appropriate office wear with a top and jacket? Maybe best suited to casual Friday with flats? I am 5'9 size 10 so they finish a couple of inches above my ankles.

Any other suggestions for good work trousers?

I work in a similar firm and I think they would be ok if you dressed them up with heels, blouse and a jacket.

Although black is THE colour in our office - never seen so much of it around the place.

I have a couple of pairs of the same .

I keep a few changes of shoes at work, so can happily walk in flats but if needed change to a heel.

I understand what you mean, most 3/4 look better with a flat, but to some a heal is more professional . Hmm

Thanks. Think I just need to bite the bullet and wear them! I don't encounter many women at my level so have no real point of reference and think I'm just doubting myself.
