I work in the family restaurant and am on my feet 8-10 hours a day, doing lots and lots of walking. After spending an inordinate amount of time, effort and cash, I thought I'd found the best choice for me in Ecco shoes, currently wearing these. However, I have a really dodgy ankle (achilles tendinopathy), and at my podiatrist appointment today I was told that the wedge is perfect, but that I could do with more cushioning. Really, I want a smart looking shoe with the comfort of trainers. Is there such a thing? How cushioned are Geox? I've seen these which look ok, but I'm reluctant to spend that much if they're not any better than what I'm wearing now. If anyone has any other suggestions they'd be most welcome. Most of the staff wear more casual clothes than me, with crocs (the horror
) or trainers, but I tend to wear dresses or skirts and like to look professional. Thanks in advance.
