sling back kitten heels for a wedding?

Going to a wedding in September dp is best man. Found some lovely pointed toe sling back kitten heels that fit perfectly in a nice colour most importantly I can actually walk in them but not sure if they will be smart/ dressy enough for a wedding? Also not got my dress yet so not even sure I should be buying shoes at all?

If you like the shoes, get them. However, avoid slingbacks with the elastic bit on the sling. They are rubbish and fall off your heels, so will drive you insane at the wedding. Go for the type with a buckle.

Google this style... Gabor Rumble... I've chosen them to wear to a wedding this summer, really comfy and I don't wear heels often at all.

Kitten heels are awful. Go for a midi at least

In the nicest possible way, no one will be looking at your shoes unless you can't walk in them.

will you be standing on grass? If so, get heels that won't sink in, wedges are good for that.
