Help which bb cream is best?

so I bought Pure bb cream and I love it except that it doesnt have any spf protection. I bought simple BB cream today which does but I put on too much in a rush and had to wash it off. I looked like an orange. What BB creams do you use and which do you find best. Thanks.

I've only tried one in my life and it was a free sample but I loved it and ended up buying some. It's La Roche Posay and has spf 20 I think.

My skin is combination, I'm 41, btw.

DidgeDoolittle · 23/04/2015 16:47

I have just bought the Botanics one from Boots. It has an SPF of 30, iirc. I bought the light one and it's just right for my pale, combination skin. It's half price at £4.99 at the moment.

Dr Jart Regenerating BB cream. Great coverage and really moisturising

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/04/2015 16:59

I'm using the Botanics one after the recommendations on here. It's really good. The light one is just the right shade for me, and a lovely Mumsnetter sent me a second tube of it too. :) It lasts for ages and is often on offer.

Unfortunately it smells horrible, but you don't notice it once it's on.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/04/2015 17:03

The Botanics one is the best I have tried.

Greenteandchives · 23/04/2015 17:04

I am using Garnier BB Ceme + Blur. It's lovely. No SPF but I use a moisturiser with that in.

BitOfFun · 23/04/2015 17:05

The Aldi one is lovely.

LilQueenie · 23/04/2015 17:06

Thanks I'll check these out soon. Im leaning towards the boots one at the moment for cost.

I recently tried a sample of the new Dead Sea Spa Magik BB cream, and liked it so much I ordered a full-sized one, which has just arrived today!

I love the Maybelline and it's SPF 30

BallroomWithNoBalls · 23/04/2015 18:25

Maybelline here too. There's 3 types with different SPF so go for the highest, which is SPF30. I have pale dry skin and it's lovely, really blends well with good coverage and looks very natural. Not orange at all Grin

LilQueenie · 23/04/2015 18:27

springtimemama I was asking that not long ago. Its a cream that works as a mousturiser, foundation, base, sun protector all in one basically. Evens out the skin tone and covers imperfections.

musicmum75 · 23/04/2015 19:04

Boots No 7 is fab and also Madara Tinting Fluid.

HelenF350 · 23/04/2015 19:09

Another vote for Maybellene, love it and it's the only one I've found that doesn't make my very pale skin look orange.

WottaMess · 23/04/2015 20:05

Live botanics here too. I am on my 3rd tube!

Itsalldramarama · 23/04/2015 20:43

Never used one before but I got the loreal bb luminese in fair(use no 7 soft rose foundation normally ) and I'm impressed ! 3.99 from B&M !

mowglik · 23/04/2015 21:25

Can anyone link to the botanics one I tried searching on google and boots and couldn't find it!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/04/2015 21:52

Iirc the Botanics one is rarely on the website, I remember from another thread.

Wrt the Maybelline one, is it the Dream Fresh one everyone raves about?

whereismagic · 23/04/2015 21:59

YSL is very good, lots of compliments and it does have SPF.
