Need a summer Waterproof Jacket

I need a waterproof jacket to use in the Lake District next month and hopefully a style that I can wear later on for rainy school run days. Any suggestions???

Sea salt?

I find Seasalt quite good for this sort of thing.

Last year Fat Face had light-weight shower proof jackets in bright colours but can't see anything similar there yet.

Joules have some good ones too - all depends on your budget and style really

Seasalt - not the cheapest, but good quality and lots of choice.

Nikki from midlifechic lives up there, I think? She had a post about waterproof jackets and liked the Berghaus one?

Seasalt are lovely but too costly at the moment. Joules is a bit better price wise. Thanks for the link HilarysMantelpiece, will have a look through her post as well.

Aigle. Better and more exclusive than Sea Salt which most of the mums t school have.

It's 100% waterproof, taped seams. They come in other colours, they also come up large. I'm a 10 and needed XS - but S if you want to be able to wear it over another coat.

joules waterproof but looks like cotton jacket

I got this one to smarten myself up whilst dog walking and for wet school pick up. I am starting from a low baseline though!
The fit is nice but I went down a size.

I've just sent this one back (Next Clearance bit). It is really nice, but just a bit short for me.
