Will I regret buying not leather heels?

I have decided black patent peep toes will go best with the dress I'm wearing to a wedding in August, I don't wear heels often so they need to be a mid heel at most. There are some nice gabor sling backs I tried on today but my heels are in a fair state and I'm not sure I can de-crack them enough to be presentable!!

I would like them to last for nights out, perhaps half a dozen times a year... will synthetic shoes crease and fall and apart?

This is the dress in case anyone wants to weigh in, I've got a black shrug to wear with it and think I'll get a black patent clutch and some kind of black statement type bangle to wear with it.

Bridesmaids are in navy so I've decided the Bride wont mind a bit of black --and she wore dark brown to my wedding so has set precedence--

The synthetic ones look cheap and nasty and I think would cheapen the dress. The slingbacks are far nicer too in my opinion. I think you'll get much more wear out of leather as they soften and become more comfy. I also have some Gabor and find them very comfortable!

Ps get the soap and glory
Foot file from boots and use it often, together with loads of
Moisturiser and socks. Voila! Nicer feet

I love parent shoes! I have some on right now :-) I prefer the Gabor ones. X

The non leather will cut your feet to bits.

Looks like its the Gabor sling backs :) tried the dress and bolero on today and I'm chuffed, cant wait for the shoes to arrive --and the next stone to bugger off--

Definitely go for leather. Your feet need to breathe. Synthetic shoes have no 'give' in them and so are very uncomfortable in peep toes.
